Johanna supposedly was married to a guard and lived on palace grounds.Her two young children and her husband died and it was then that she came to Milwaukee, WI with her mother. Her mother had been married before she had Johanna, apparently married her father, then married my gg-grandfather and then married twice more. So was happy to get some last names with Johanna's marriage license to Karl Kohls. Any info on your grandfather Ziese would be greatly appreciated. Maybe through his family will be able to find mine.
