you did not include the ages and birth places of each of the children, the dates and places of each marriage and the death dates and places of each previous spouse.use all the dates and places and write up a time-line sequence of events for the family.are the ernst children older than the bender children? or the Karst children? maybe elizabeth had two previous marriages.or it is possible that nicholas karst's first wife had previously been married to an ernst.since they are claimed as son and daughter they are that of one or both nicholas and/or elizabeth.don't forget that they may be adopted or foster children.if you haven't done so following the families through the census would be helpful. maybe these ideas will help.
