Old Ernst family photograph

I have obtained an old board mounted Ernst family photograph. The board is in bad shape but the photograph is good. It is of a family standing in front of a house. On the back are listed the following names (there are some names also that are missing due the board having broken off).

Fred Ernst
John Ernst
Minnie Ernst Morek
Annie Ernst Surovik
Edward Ernst

I think the photograph may have been taken in Texas but I really am unsure.
