Hello Vicki,
I have been researching the Essam name for approximaely 10 years now and have built up a huge family tree of Northamptonshire Essam's accross 8 A3 Sheets (including Thorpe Malsor) proving without a doubt that all Essam's are related.I would be very interested to know what details you have of your own line to see if I can connect you into the data that I have.
The family tree goes back to 1700's where it comes to a halt due to 100 years of missing/damaged parish registers for Wilbarston.
I have transcripts of wills and a lot of other information. I also have proof of where the family fortune went, we were quite a wealthy lot of landowners for some time.
I hope I can be of help
Karen Bland (Nee Essam)
