Looking for connection to AMANDA EVARTS, born 15 Sep 1818 somewhere in Ohio. She married a NATHANIEL ADKINS in St. Joseph Co., IN on 20 FEB 1834.She had a total of 9 children by him eventually. They lived in IN for several years (3 children were born to them there), and on to Berriens Co., MI (1840s-1850s) and on to Dallas Co, IA by 1855 (there in the 1860 Dallas Co., Walnut Tnsp.Census).She died in 1880 and is buried in the Waukee Cem.Her eldest dtr. Mary Ann took the last name of "AKINS" (omitting the "D"), and the burial records reflect the name "ATKINS" (with a "T").I can not identify the eacact place of birth of AMANDA EVARTS, who her parents were or any siblings.Any help?I have hit the wall on her.I am eager for any clues.
