As far as I know most of the Everetts that came from this area of NC left here about 1775.Others have contacted me concerning Solomon Everett, however I can not connect his nor Thompson Everett's ancestors to mine. I do have a listing of William Everett,(born about 1694 - 8-3-1770) son of Thomas Everett and Ann Turner, who was the som of Simon Everett and Elizabeth Garner Everett. William married Sarai Dixon that lived in Martin County, NC.He had a sister Ann Everett (b. abt. 1696) & married Philip Moody, sister Rebecca Everett (b. about 1698) married John Williams, Brother John Everett (b. abt. 1700) married Elizabeth, brother Turner Everett (b. abt. 1704)married Miss Cocike, Sister Elizabeth Everett (b. 1706) married John Garner, sister Martha Everett (b. 1704 - 3-12-1730) married John Matthews, Brother Samuel Everett B. 1710- 12-1-1785)married Sarah Dixon. He had a son named Thomas Everett b 6-12-1750 who married Patience Porter.Thomasserved as a Lt. in Capt. Mills' Co. of Va. Volunteers during the Revolutionary War and later promoted to Captain.His son Myles married Blanch Hardison.With their nine children they migrated to Chowan Cjounty, North Carolina as listed in the 1820 census. (maybe what is today Martin Co.NC. He and many other later traveled to Jasper Georgia and eventualluy on to other states.Miles, and or some of his descendents, eventually stopped in Orange Hill, Florida. William Everett had another sisgter, Sarah (b. 1712) & married Aaron Gray. Maybe this will be of some help.Maybe these are some of your relatives.
