Rose E. Everling White obit

RONAN - Rose E. White, 82, of Ronan, died of natural causes late Saturday evening, March 3.
She was born Nov. 4, 1918, in Belcourt, N.D., to Nicholas and Philomene Everling and was a member of the Turtle Mountain Band of Chippewa Indians.
Rose married Antoine White on Aug. 11, 1941. He preceded her in death in 1978.
She is survived by her daughter Janet Thompson of Butte, and grandsons Stephen Thompson and fiancée Holly Holbrook of Butte and Douglas Thompson of Monterey, Calif.; daughter Germaine White of St. Ignatius, and granddaughters Annie and Kamiah DuMontier of St. Ignatius; daughter Betty White of Arlee and grandson Joseph Peabody of Butte.
Visitation will be 4-8 p.m. Wednesday, March 7, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Ronan. Rosary will be recited at 8 p.m.
Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Thursday at the church, followed by interment at Calvary Cemetery.
