Timothy Ewen was born in 1756 in America, son of Julius. He did not fight with the New Jersey Blues in the Revolutionary War.He first joined the West Jersey Volunteers which later was incorporated into the New Jersey Volunteers, ALL LOYALISTS! He mostly fought in the southern battles, i.e. Savannah & Eutaw Springs.

I have a complete copy of the journal of Luella Irvin, which was sent to me by one of her grandkids.Although much is correct, the info about Timothy Ewen is wrong.I have muster lists to prove it.

After the war, Timothy's brother Julius, who had deserted from the rebels to join the loyalists, ended up in Canada.Timothy was married in PA and moved to KY before moving to IN.He is buried about a mile south of Hillsbough, IN in an old church cemetery.
