My name is George Donald Ewen, I was born in Hazard Ky.My Father was Forrest D. Ewen, he was born at Nada in Powell Co.My Grandfather was George Earl Ewen, he was born on the family farm outside Stanton.His Father was George Washington Ewen also born on the farm.His Father was John Riley Ewen bornon the farm.His Father was Timothy Ewen.He came to Ky from Pennsylvania following the Revolutionary War.He was from New Jersey but fought for the Roylists and could not go back.He settled at what is now Stanton in 1787.His Father was Julius Ewen from New Jersey.The Ewen Family has a reunion each year in Stanto of what was the family farm.If you would like more information please contact me at [email protected] or at 859-223-4747.
