MRS. JESSIE EWEN IS TAKEN BY DEATH
Lyman, {Spartanburg Co., S.C.} ,Aug. 18 - MRS. JESSIE C. EWEN, 74, died at the home of her son, CHARLES G. EWEN, here Friday after an illness of 2 years.
The body will be taken to her former home in Portsmouth, N.H., for funeral services and interment Monday.
Surviving are 2 sons, CHARLES G. EWEN of Lyman and Lieut. EDWARD C. EWEN, U.S.N., also 3 grandchildren, DOUGLASS G.,BARBARA JANE and MARIE CAROLINE EWEN.
