I also meant to say that my grandmother was never married to Innes Ewen.Shegot involved with him when he worked for Hudson Bay company in a remote post in northwestern ontario. Their child who was my father never carried the last name of Ewen.His father Innes Ewen who is recorded in my father's birth certificate gave him the name George, no middle name. My father had a younger brother who Innes Ewen named William. William died at a young age. Innes left when my father was very young.he may have been transferred to another Hudson Bay post. It is strange that he would go west and get officially married and named his children the same names.If indeed is the same Innes Ewen.
