FYI: Earl EWING, Palmer Lake, Colorado
In 1917, my grandfather's youngest sister, along with a few members of her family, travelled by car from Denver, Colorado, to Los Angeles, California.A sister had given her a small notebook in which to keep a "trip diary."In the first entry, dated June 13, 1917, she wrote:
"Started from Denver... at 1:30 - Wens. June 13Folks came as far as Sedalia with us....We stopped to see Earl Ewing at Palmer Lake....Camped at Prospect Lake out beyond Colo. Springs near the Printers Union san...."
This Earl Ewing isn't mentioned again in the diary but, if you're looking for an Earl Ewing in Colorado c. 1917, he may be your man. =)
