Frank, Joshua Eyre HANNUM prepared an extensive handwritten manuscript on this EYRE line that had a fairly comprehensive history on the Mary Phipps SWAYNE line.

"Aaron SWAYNE[5] (George4, Thomas3, William2, Francis1, William), son of George and Miriam (Foreman) SWAYNE of Darby twp, Delaware co, PA; b: 1785, d: 8-15-`836, md: 10-25-1813, Mary PHIPPS, [A] b: 8-24-1788, d: 12-13-1842, dau of Elisha and Elizabeth (Pusey) PHIPPS of Doe Run Mills, West Fallowfield twp, Chester co, PA; granddau of Caleb and Susanna (Crosby) PHIPPS of same, and of Ellis and Susanna (Baily) PUSEY of same, and grat grandau of Joseph PHIPPS, miller of Uwchlan twp, Chester co, PA, and of Joshua and Mary (Lewis) PUSEY of West Fallowfield twp. Aaron and Mary (Phipps) SWAYNE lived on the road from Darby to Chester, Delaware co, PA."

The information on the SWAYNE line is considerable and there are also birth, death and marriage dates for most of the 11 children of Aaron and Mary Phipps SWAYNE.
