I believe you are referring to Walter Richmond Fales bap. 25 Jun 1848 in Wrentham MA, son of David Newland Fales and Susan Helen Fales.(That's right, husband and wife were both named Fales.)Warren Dexter Fales states: "grad. Brown A. B. 1869, taught sev. yrs, went to Indianapolis in lumber bus., then to Colo. for health, engaging in mining, to Calif. in 1897, Los Angeles.
Fiore, Hist. Wrentham p141: "In later years F. N. Fales manufactured boxes in their plant on Taunton Street"; p 183: "On the West side of Taunton Street, less than one half mile from the center, Fred N. Fales and Walter R. Fales operated F. N. Fales & Co.,etc."
