That may be Richard Lovell Fant, Number 777 in Fant Genealogy Book. He is a son of George Fant. George had 17 children. Seven by his first wife and then ten by his second wife Elizabeth Sewell whom he married in 1785. Richard was the third of ten children of second wife which would put his birth about 1789-1790.
He married Rachel Blackburn and had four children. He was a carriage maker in Salem, Virgina. He moved from Virginia to Missouri in April 1836. He then moved to Warrenton in 1839 and six years later to Jefferosn City where he was in the hotel business.
