George Farlow

I am seeking information on my great Grandfather George Farlow.He was born inNorth Carolina between 1840-42.He is the son of William, who was the son of Issac, who was the son of Nathan Farlow & Ruth Carter.I know that he is listed in the 1870 Illinois Census and that he was listed in the 1880 Missouri Census.In both Census, he listed his wife's name as Mary (born in Ohio).In E. Edgar Farlow's book, however, He said that George was married to Polly Crow.This is a contradiction to what my father had told me.My dad had said that his Grandmother's name was MARY.However, in the 1870 Illinois, Adams County, Camp Point Census;George listed as his eldest son a Charley F. CROW (born in Ohio)and his wife as Mary (born in ohio).Does anyone know if George was first maried to Polly and then later to Mary?I would greatly appreciate any information.Thank, Warren
