I've traced the Farmery branch of my family back to Leeds at the end of the 18th and beginning of the 19th Century. The information I have is as follows:
William Farmery married Ann Schofield (or Scholfield)20 Apr 1794, St. Peter, Leeds.
Their children, all christened at St. John, Leeds, were:
Marianne, 21 Sept 1797
William, 26 Mar 1799
Schofield, 14 Oct 1808
James, 14 Feb 1814
Schofield Farmery married Eliza Ann Knowles, 29 Apr 1835 at St.Mary, Manchester.
Their children, all christened in Manchester, were:
William Schofield, 1 Jan 1837
James Knowles, 17 Feb 1839
Edward Gray, 1 May 1842
Henry, 7 July 1847
Charles Alfred, 23 Aug 1849
Marian, 23 July 1851
Back to SChofield I have been able to corroborate myself, but further back has come from the IGI, although I am confident of its veracity given the occurrence of the name Schofield.
