I have just located the death certificate of our great granduncle who died in Aberdeen in 1937.

On this certificate it states that Elizabeth Farquhar was his wife and the informant was his father in law George (what could be an S initial) Farquharalso from Aberdeen.

Does any of this ring bells with your lines?
