I have today discovered that one of our ancestors, Norman Simpson married an Elizabeth Farquhar(Father George Farquhar) George had a middle initial which may have been an "S" . They lived in Aberdeen, Aberdeen in 1937 when Elizabeth was made a widow.Her husband was just 37 so I imagine she would have been around that age too.. so possibly born 1900... making father -George being born about 1880 or so.
