Archibald Farquharson of Finzean?

Greetings fellow clansfolk,

I'm trying to find out more information about Archibald Farquharson of Finzean, who recorded a marriage to Christian Spring in the parish of Birse (Aberdeenshire) in 1792, and had a son Archibald in 1793. I have reviewed the LDS microfilm of parish records for Birse, which provides me with what information I do have. I believe that I am related to this family, and would love to find out more about who his parents and siblings were. I gather that the Farquharsons of Finzean were a prominent family in this area, and I note that there are also Farquharsons of Balfour in this same parish. I have read that the Farquharsons of Finzean had hoped to claim the clan chieftanship at some point around 1805, so there's got to be some good family history documentation somewhere. Any pointers that anyone can provide me would be most appreciated!
