Re: Someone must know of a MOLEY Faulkner? VA

There was a Gardiner Fortmer in Prince William Co, VA in the 1820 census. My ancestor was a Gardner Falkner born in VA in 1814 whose parents or siblings are unknown. I've wondered if they might have been related somehow. I haven't checked the original census record yet. Moley also sounds like a maiden name, so perhaps they were related through families who liked to use the mother's maiden names?
