I am seeking information on the family of James FORTNER (1810 TN - 1882 AL) who married Gatsey MANNING (1810 NC - 1901 AL).I do not know the names of James' or Gatsey's parents or siblings.Their daughter, Mary A. FORTNER (ca 1834 AL - aft 1880 TX?) married Josiah M. BULLOCK (ca 1832 AL - aft 1880 TX?) in Lowndes Co. on 29 Apr 1852.Josiah was the s/o Charles BULLOCK (ca 1810 GA - 1860-1870 LA?) and Nancy ROSS (ca 1812 SC - aft 1870
LA?), who married in Lowndes Co., AL on 26 Jan 1832.I would appreciate any information on this family, their ancestry, and their descendants; and I will be happy to share any info that I have.
