Rev. War John Faunce

I came across a Revolution War card fle, on one was a John Faunce, Lt., active duty in the City of Philadelphia, in Col. Lawrences' Artillery Battery. It was a pay order by Capt. Jacob Faunce to Lt. John Faunce. Dated Feb.13, 1784.

I don't know if the 2 Faunces are related.
