I believe he did marry this Frances Ferguson so far as I can tell. He didn't leave Franklin cty, that we can find. Minerva is a family name I can attest to, as my grandmother was named Martha Minerva. I've read about Frances "Thorington" Ferguson marrying Zachariah Kennett, this information is in an old genealogical book, how accurate it is I don't know. That Frances was from Georgia. There was another Zachariah Kinnett, down south who married Elizabeth. I'm going by William Kennett's marriage license in Patrick Co to Martha Cannaday (misspelled Carmody) where he lists his parents as Z. Kennett and F. He was born in 1837, though some docs list 1847. I believe the earlier documents to be correct. I have thoroughly verified through kids, marriage and census through william Kennett, who is the son of Zachariah, but cannot find him listed as a child or a birth cert or anything. He is too young to be Franky Pollard's son and seems to be Frances Ferguson's, as he was born just after their marriage. Frances Ferguson was married a few times it seems, though there were several Fergusons. These people intermarried their cousins alot and used the same names.
