Re: What does Ferrara mean?

basically i was wondering if this indeed was the origin of the name ferrara.i took a class in metalsmithing and was hooked and actually took it quite easilly and thought that it is quite interesting if it does indeed mean that since my mothers maiden name is ferrara.thank you.
