Re: Jacob Ferree (1757-1834) Adams Co. PA
At the Adams Co. Historical Society, I copied from a microfilm of the Adams Co. PA newspaper THE SENTINEL, the following ad:
Whereas Jesse Ferree has informed me, by letter, that he has an account against me of forty dollars signed over to him by Henry Ferree, which money he says Henry Ferree lent to me - all of which I declare to be false, and I do forwarn all persons from taking an adssignment of any instruments of the kind, as I am determined to answer neither frauds nor forgeries.

Jesse may be Jacob's brother, but the name Henry is a new name to me, so I'm now looking at all the Henry Ferrees I can find in this time period.Since your Isaac Ferree has a brother Henry, b. 1726, m. Kate or Hannah Copeland, do you have anything on this Henry????
