antone ferreira sr from madeira portugal

i am looking for any info on my greatgrandfather, antone ferreira sr wife mary or maria. they had 9 children antone ferreira jr, my granddad, sophia, mary, louis, philimina, violet, minnie, manual, and theresa. my granddad was born 9/28/1897 on kauai, thats all the infor i can collect. i am interested to know where sr came from, i think madeira portugal. i am from hawaii, living in texas, and am stuck and don't know where else to go. most of our family live in california,i think.
