I come from Sarah L. Fielder, d/o Samuel Fielder and Frances Leachman, married Joel Terrell Adams in 1828 in CAswell Co NC.I'd like to get a group of us together as well.

Joel Terrell Adams was a bit older than Sarah L. He had first married in 1800 in Pittsylvania Co. He was a Baptist Preacher in Pittsylvania, Campbell and Bedford Co VA.They had5 children, known to me anyway....
1.Mary Ann m. 1.Thomas Edward Y Weathersford and 2 Isaiah Ramsey
2.Robert b. 1832 m. a Miss Fielder and moved to KY
3.John W.Adams b. 23 Aug 1833 d. July 17 1864 Petersburg (CSA) m Ann Mary Franklin 22 Feb 1855 Pittsylvania Co VA
4. James E Adams m. Sarah Jerrell 1 Oct 1857 (this name may be Terrell)
5. Sarah F. "Fannie" m. Anselem Snow 8 Oct 1857 Pittsylvania Co VA.

I have other Fielders who also married into my Lewis family, and these Lewis', Terrell's and Adams are all related. Most likely Joel Terrell Adams met Sarah Fielder through his mother's cousins, the Lewis' who married Fielder's on a regular basis it seems.
