Hello Ingo
We might have info you need.
1. John R. came from Langenhausen, about 12 miles from Bremervorde. He was born in 1862. He emmigrated in 1880.
2. His name is John Reinhold Fischbeck. The name John comes from Johann.
3. Born 1862
4.John's brother Henry was born 1879. Died 1970. Wife's name Anna. Two kids, Henry and Helen, and step brother 'Billie' Murphy.
That's not who you are looking for, I guess. This Henry was a cinematographer in the earlymovies.
I have a chart with other relatives back to 1770, another Johann R. Fischbeck. A John R., born 1832, and went to California. He had a brother Herman, born 1836 and he went to California, too. Another brother Heinrich Johann, b. 1839, is my great, great grand dad.
I don't see Adelheid Viebrock anywhere on the tree. Hope this helps. Do you anything else to go on?
Marsha Fischbeck Grimm lives in Schenectady, NY and knows the family tree pretty well. Do you know her?
Peace,
Dick
