Re: Captain George Washington Fitzwater

I am a descendant of Capt. George Fitzwater through his son, Isaac (b. 11 Jan 1809 Kanawha, Virginia).Would you please check through your materials and see if you have a record of Isaac's first wife, Malinda (m. 1842).I am looking for her surname.I think they had five chidren, one of whom was my ancestor, George Washington Fitzwater. Isaac also had three children by his second wife, Elizabeth Hughes.Of course, I am interested in finding proof of the parents of Capt. George, along with lots of other people.I am not convinced that his parents were John Fitzwater and Judith West.
