McKain are held and firmly bound unto Henry Lee Governor in the just & full sum of fifty pounds to which payment well truly to be made to our Governor his heirs to we do bind ourselves our heirs & jointly ? firmly by ? presents sealed with our seals & dated this 25th day of October 1793. The condition of the above obligation is such that if there is no lawful cause to obstruct a marriage between the above John Fitzwater & Maudlin Kounts then tthis obligation to be word also to remain in full force & virtue.
