Flack' s in New York State, 1790-1840.
I have just completed a listing of all the (recorded) Flacks in New York State between 1790 & 1840. I doubt you all want them listed here (probably classed as abuse) so the the page link is :- http://www.flackgenealogy.com/newtng/histories/NewYorkFlacks.phphttp://www.flackgenealogy.com/newtng/histories/NewYorkFlacks.php
I have included maps to help visualise the build up of the Flack families from the initially 2 recorded in the 1790 census at Hebron, Washington County.
Apart from a reasonably well know migration from Hebron to Lisbon, St Lawrence County (and the formation of Flackville), the main expansion seems to be up and down the main 'waterways' between Willsboro, Essex County, and Albany/Troy Rensselaer County.
If anyone in this forum has any Flack's attached to your own family trees in any way, I'd be pleased to hear from you.
