Jason,
It sure sounds like the same guy.He was my mother's brother and left a family of 6 or 5 and one on the way around 1936.I found him living in CT in 1930 with his wife and two sons at the time.I didn't know about Lowell, MA but I was told he moved around quite a bit.He was spotted in Bridgeport, CT after he ran off by one of his sons and Harry eluded him.If this is the right person you and I are second cousins.I tried to get his death certificate but the state of VA wouldn't give it to me because I wasn't one of his children.Maybe your mother could get it.Does she have any pictures of him?If so, I could tell if it was him because my grandmother used to have a large portrait of him in her living room.I had one picture of him but gave it to one of his granddaughters. He had a very large family. All I know about him is what my mother told me.Please feel free to email me privately.

June
