Re: Fleming(s), Flemming(s) from around GA, AL, and FL
You are correct, Joseph Fleming was born about mid 1850's not in 1879. I do have children listed for Joe and Millie, they are: Ella Lee(1892), R(1896), Mansfield(1895), Ira B(1898), Earnest(1901) and Hiram(1897) all going by census.
I have checked with Victoria D Fleming, she is the one I am working on tree for.She said that Ed is/was brother to Mansfield, so he is child from first marriage, now wondering if Alice Fagan, Ed's mother was married to Joseph Fleming, Millie's husband. The death record is Ed's, He is buried at White's Cemetery in Faceville, Decatur Co. GA.
Joe and Millie both are buried at White Cemetery also, along with Ed, Mansfield, Annie(Mansfield first wife), Joe and Nora Dean Jone Fleming.
I appreciate you finding Hiram and Milissa Wood.
Also on the 1900 Census for Joseph Fleming, there is a Martha Goines as being his mother, I cant find anything on her.
In your previous post you stated you use some free sites. I cant find anything. I use familysearch.com, Galileo, genealogy.com, rootsweb.com and USGenWeb.Might I ask of other free sites. It seems everything I find takes me to Ancestry. Anyhelp would be greatly appreciated. This info if you wish can be emailed to me.
Thanks so much for all the corrections you have giving me.
