Brandon,

Do you mind forwarding me whatever documentation you have stating that Callie and Vernie were Richard Flowers' children? I found them in the 1900 Census but they are listed with the last name Eddins, which is their mother's maiden name. I've been assuming their father was unknown. Richard married Lida in 1879 and Emma in 1883 according to the records I have found. Why would he then father two children with Lida in 1885 and 1887?

I'd love to know who the father of Callie is especially, because she is one of my husband's ancestors. The interesting thing is, if she is the daughter of Richard, then my husband's great grandparents were first cousins. Richard had a daughter with Emma named Seady/C.D. She married William Miles Scarbrough and had a son Grover Cleveland Scarbrough. Callie married Thomas "Bud" Jackson and had a daughter, Idell Jackson. Grover and Idell later married. Any light you could she would be appreciated.
