Hardy Floyd born 1809 in Horry County, SC was the son of Frederick Floyd, Sr.He moved to Randolph County, Georgia where he met and married Mardlin Thompson in 1831.Mardlin, born about 1809, was the daughter of John and Mary Thompson.They had seven children.Hardy died 1 June 1845 at the age of about 36.Mardlin died the following year, 16 February 1846, approximately 37 years old.The children are as follows:
