Re: William FLOYD, Granville Co, NC

I, too, am searching for the Floyd family from Granville County, NC.I have George Floyd marrying Martha Locke on 4 Apr 1795 in Granville County.They had one son,Lewis Floyd, b. abt 1800, who married Martha "Patsy" Rogers on 15 Dec 1821 in Granville County.The last time I was in Raleigh to the Archives I made a copy of George's will dated Aug 1843.Other children mentioned in the will are: Martha, Susanna, Polly, Henry, William, Nelly and Juda (the last two are listed as "deaf & dum"), and Elizabeth.
George married a second time to Rosey Denton on 27 Aug 1835.
