Davis Floyd had an interesting and colorful career as an attorney, judge, territorial treasurer, canal investor, etc. in Indiana and Florida. He was involved with Aaron Burr.
His brother, Charles Floyd, died on the Lewis and Clark Expedition. They had two sisters, Elizabeth Floyd m.
