hello Gaston, there are many people interested in the same thing you are. From this forum it was suggested Andrew J. Floyd was born in PA. in 1724 or 26. How do you find out more about him other than typing his name in this forum is beyond me. I ask myself questions such as "If AJF was born in PA. then who were his parents and how, why did they go to PA?" I am interested to know where the middle name johnson came from. I looked in Maryland marriages and came up with a William Floyd who married a Magdilene Johnson in 1714 and this should have been close to the PA border but can not find out who this william and magdilene were or their children if they had any. As far as Francis Floyd is concerned, type in his name and dates on this forum search and there is plenty of discussion of Francis. As far as other info regarding Floyd's is concerned the book, "Kith and Kin" is located in the Robeson County Public library in Lumberton, n.c. Andrew J. Floyd and Francis were my ggggg--oh I forget, how many g's. Good luck cousin. Wesley D. Floyd
