The Atlanta GA census of 1850 shows Ira M. Floyd (b.1827 in SC) in the household of Jeptha Booth (b.in GA), and what appears to be his wife (though she is a bit older than he), Rebecca (b. in SC in 1812). I think Rebecca may be a Floyd, as I found a Rebecca Floyd head of household in SC prior to 1850. In the Atlanta 1850 census, Rebecca had two daughters who are too old to be Jeptha's children (Sarah S. Booth b. 1838; Mary M. Booth b. 1842, both GA). Also in the household was a boy, 3yrs old, who prob was Jeptha's son, George W. Booth (my gr'grandfather). If you have any inf on Ira M. Floyd or Rebecca (Floyd?) Booth, I would appreciate sharing inf. I have much on the family from my George W. Booth, gr'grandfather, down to the present, including photographs.
