NELSON R. FLOYD DURHAM -- Nelson Ray Floyd, 70, died Sunday, Feb. 22, 2004. Funeral services will be held at 3:30 p.m. Saturday at Hemby-Willoughby Mortuary Chapel with Rev. Walter Adkins Jr. officiating.
A viewing will be held from 2-8 p.m. Friday at Hemby-Willoughby Mortuary, Tarboro. Burial will follow in Eastlawn Memorial Gardens, Tarboro.
Floyd is survived by his wife, Mary Jenkins Floyd of the home; four daughters, Mary Clark of Washington, D.C., Virgie Jordan of Fayetteville, Angelin Floyd Lipscomb of the home and Beverly Randolph of Tarboro; five stepsons, James Lynch, John Lynch, Samuel Jenkins, Vance Jenkins, all of Durham and Bobby Randolph fo Rocky Mount; two brothers, L.D. Little of Farmville and Clifton Floyd of New Haven, Conn.; four sisters, Virginiodale Floyd, Anna Jean Floyd, Jennell Floyd, all of New Haven, Conn. and Maxine Barnhill of Parmele; 16 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren.
