I would like to clear up a misunderstaning about Mary Ella (Loy) FLUCKEY and Mary E (Carothers) LOY.
Mary Ella (Loy) FLUCKEY is NOT buried in Van Horn Cemetery, Amanda Twp, Hancock Co, OH. She died 26 Nov 1887 in Morrow Co, OH and is buried in River Cliff Cemetery, Mt. Gilead, Morrow Co, OH.
The Mary E LOY that was buried in Van Horn Cemetery, Amanda Twp, Hancock Co, OH is the wife of Francis Marion LOY. Her obituary in the 29 September 1930 Morning Republican, The (Findlay, OH) p. 2 lists her maiden name as CAROTHERS.
From Vol. 6 page 182 of Cemeteries of Morrow County, Ohio published by the Morrow County Genealogical Society, for River Cliff Cemetery, Mt. Gilead, Morrow Co:
Fluckey, George W. b. Sept. 30, 1852 d. April 6, 1928
Mary Mateer, b. May 6, 1859 d. Nov 30, 1940
Cora M. d/o G W & ME b. Oct 8, 1875 d. Nov 19, 1878
Ethel, d/o GW & ME Fluckey b. Dec 11, 1890 d. Dec 31, 1890
Fluckey, Mary E. b. Jan 16, 1853 d. Nov 26, 1887

GWF (marker)
I believe that the Cora M Fluckey above is most likely the daughter of George W and Mary E (Loy) Fluckey. She would have been their first-born child.Ethel Fluckey was most likely the daughter of George W and his second wife Mary E (Mateer) Fluckey. The 1900 census shows that Mary (Mateer) Fluckey had only one child and that child died before the 1900 census.
I believe that the MMF marker is for Mary Mateer Fluckey and the GWF marker is for George W Fluckey.
