I am descended from Noah Fluharty and I do have some information about Stephen: The originalJohn Fluharty came from Galway to America in 1702 ( I also have 1678). His son was Stephen, who had a son named John, who had a son named Stephen. This Stephen enlisted in the Revolutionary War. He enlisted in the First Maryland Regiment. He served three years and was discharged in 1779. He reenlisted in 1779 in the Seventh Maryland Calvary. He served until 1783. His residence was Caroline Co. Maryland and after the war he moved to Winchested County, Virginia. He had two sons: John and William. William had seven children: Stephen, William L.,Govert, Denwood (died in infancy) Bennett, and Ann. Stehen died in 1822 at aged 79 of old age.
