Isaac Purvis Fluitt is the son of John Stent
Fluitt and Mary McDonald Nelson and the grandson of Samuel Fluitt and Martha Patience Hill. My great grandfather was William Nelson Fluitt, the older brother of
Isaac Purvis. William Nelson and family came to Texas from Williamsburg, S.C. when my grandfather was about five years old.
