Dear Jerry:

Hello.Received your e-mail.Interestingly enough,I am related to Doug Flutie.According to my father, he's about third or fourth generation. My grandfather (Peter Fluty Sr.) immigrated to this country through Massachusettes and Doug has his connections in Mass. Also coincedently, his son and my Aunt (my grandfathers daughter) both are autistic.I believe that there is some English decent, however I must confess that some time has passed since I have devoted any time to constructing the history.I would have to ask my father to run through it one more time.My family has really split geographically...we are in the New England area and also in the Florida area. There are of course the few strays, ie California, but again I haven't devoted a lot of time to this mainly because I am in the middle of planning my wedding.I hope to get back into the swing of this soon, but not before May.Hope my rambling has helped in any way.Oh by the way, about four or five(I think) generations back the "ie" was changed to "y" in Fluty.I don't know why yet.Any more questions or comments, please feel free to e-mail me.Never know, we may be related.
