I am anxious to accomodate those of you who want me to send you a FLY pedigree with group-sheets down the line from WILLIAM R/N #1, d. 1679, to the inquiring individual. I usually alphabetize and index each person in the printout with a record number. Upon request, I freely offer to do this for the Fly-family inquirer.
The only hitch is my 82-yr old short-term memory. It needs jogged sometimes. Especially when day-to-day e-mail correspondence is heavy. (and I'm actively collecting latter-day information.)
Have I committed to you in good faith to send you one of these?Have I delayed (indecently, it may seem to you) keeping my commitment?
Please forgive me and be good enough to remind me of what I said I would send to you; and be sure I have your mailing address and phone number, so I can phone you to discuss any "wrinkles" that may need discussed.
I have put a lot of my life into the whole Fly-family genealogy since 1958; and I realize that time is running out on ANY 82-yr. old, relatively speaking, at this time of his/her life.I want to share with family what I uniquely know NOW. This includes the Pennsylvania Flys that are English-descended AND the German-descended Flys in PA, as well. Also I have Considerable information on the New England FLYES (FLYE-family). This latter information is on charts, awaiting computer-entry, but I study them, as needed, to seek linkings for inquirers.
