Hi Darlene,
This William Fly, according to the history of Gibson Co., was the son of Macajah Fly.Also, there was another source that had this William belonging with Nathan Rochell and George Fly who was said to be the sons of Joseph Fly of Penn. This was a work done in the 1950's which was basically the same as one written by Thomas Lincoln Rhodes and several other people.
It also looks as if it is incorrect - I think Clarence had it listed as William Capps and Jones Rogers, however the body of the deed clearly states William Fly and Jones Rogers.
There were so many people with the same names it is often hard to identify who is who.
