You, the members of the Forum who read and digest the postings, already know that I have commented more than once to the effect that although the tombstone says only "born 1772" for a date of birth (as provided to the stonecutter by "grandson, B.F. Fly"), the information that John Fly was born 1/1/1772 was provided by James Lawrence Fly, the well known attorney in the Franklin D. Roosevelt administration. (He was involved with TVA and the FCC affairs). The information was provided to Marian (Prescott) Brown in the early 1930's in a letter that I have on file. As I pointed out several times before, the family Bible of "Rev." John Fly was said to have been burned up in a housefire about 1925.There is little reason to make a BIG DEAL over this matter, but Joyce asks and asks and asks again. She IGNORES my posted answers and asks yet again.BAD ATTITUDE!
LISTEN TO ME JOYCE, "BAD ATTITUDE". You are making a lot of people ask, "Why does the woman do this?"
As for the letter you started, you can finish if it pleases you.I do not intend to.But if I feel a comment is in order, you may be sure I'll make one.I owe it to the congenial cousins of the Forum. You I owe nothing, anymore. I did ONCE, but NO MORE. You have become a SPOILER.
