I would suggest that you all click on the New Fly/Flythe page. I am sure the correct answer will be there.
The people doing the new site will certainly beable to have truth rather than someone's guesses.
New researchers take "guesses" as truth. "Guesses" often conflict with truth causing much confusion and changes correct records to incorrect records which go down in history as a mess.
"Guesses" are fine, however, I will say it again - it sure can make a mess. For example, Elisha Fly, bro. of John b. 1772, when I asked for the source giving names of his children was told the names of his children were all the extra Flys that did not fit into other Families.Process of elimination is a very poor way to do research. It is things like this that new researchers do not know this. To connect one's children by process of eliination is stupid.Stick with facts and then write your stories that have been passed down through the ages.It they do not match the time frames, etc.then even the stories are incorrect.Hope this helps someone.
