The Cemetery information I find in my records includes William B. Elam's typescript to me in which he gives the date of birth for Charley W. Fly(Charles White Fly #4435) as I July 1922 (instead of the 2 July 1922, as posted by Joyce).I don't have any way of knowing WHO made the typo, Mr. Elam or Joyce or some OTHER person along the way.MY information came DIRECTLY to me from Wm. B. Elam, a personal friend in genealogy.A very nice man. He provided me wity MANY cemetery copyings of Fly-family individuals' names and tombstone records. These have had their part in my placement of members of the family in their proper places on the "family tree".
Charley White Fly was son of Flavius Josephus "Flavin Joe" Fly (R/N #80) and Lavina Mary (Day) Fly (R/N #3980).
Raina Fly, sister of Charley and daughter of Flavin Joe Fly, told Wm. B. Elam that her father, Flavin Joe, was buried in this same cemetery.
The OTHER Charlie Fly, husband of Maggie, was Charles W. "Jack" Fly (R/N #4568), son of William M. Fly (R/N #4433) and Sarah LOU (Mayfield) Fly (R/N #4442).His "Maggie" was Maggie (Barnett) Fly (R/N #4576).
I do not know the non-Fly individuals listed in this cemetery, as provided by Joyce from Mr. Elam's work. She does not mention where she found this list, - only that Mr. Elam was the source.
This sort of thing, Joyce, is very commendable and helpful.I will be quick to commend you for "responsible" reporting of Fly-family information.
